Brothers Reaching Brothers is a long-standing open social discussion support group and forum designed for men of all ages. This weekly meeting is host to a variety of topics, community and cultural activities that specifically address the wellness needs of Black gay, SGL and bisexual men in Los Angeles County.

MyLife MyStyle

Mylife Mystyle is a home-grown HIV prevention intervention designed to engage, educate and empower Black gay, SGL and bisexual men, ages 18-29 in an effort to reduce sexual risk behavior and the spread of HIV/AIDS. This comprehensive effort is in partnership with the Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

ITMT’s Young Black Male focus, ‘BoiRevolution’ will host a series and educational, empowerment, and social events for Black men 18- early 30’s to include DIP pool Party, BRUNCH, By Invitation Only, ‘The Black Party’ aswell as personal development trainings financial planning, physical and emotional wellness activities

 

The NIA Project

NIA Project

The NIA Project is a home-grown HIV/AIDS health education and risk reduction intervention designed specifically for Black gay, SGL and bisexual men of all ages. NIA means “purpose” in Swahili as this program highlights the importance of Black men taking control and responsibility for their lives.

 

In The Meantime Get Tested

 In The Meantime Get Tested is a unique mobile HIV testing initiative that provides targeted rapid HIV counseling and testing services to Black men in South Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. The program is made available seven days per week, during peak hours, all in an effort to be accessible to the community when and where most needed.

Supported by the Department of Mental Health this more intimate round circle is designed for brothers of all ages and is facilitated by license clinical therapist and psychiatrist.

MENtorship is a grassroots community movement designed to provide fundamental support and scholarship to young black gay men and to bridge the intergenerational gap between Black gay men of all ages in Los Angeles County.

Circuit party designed specifically for Brothas of all ages from across the country.Brothafest is ‘LA first Black gay male focused Circuit party’ (EVER) designed specifically for Brothas of all ages. We’ve got something for everybody.

Brothafest is created and developed by Ivan Daniel III and Jeffrey King, two seasoned event promoters and community organizers with a wealth of experience to captivate and invigorate your party experience.

We want to share the brilliance and wonder of America’s tinsel town!
